Oil leasing shows signs of slowing

The Louisiana Mineral Board's November lease sale was less than spectacular, indicating that the hype surrounding the Haynesville Shale area may be quieting; however, part of the reason for the shift in gears is because gas companies are preparing to develop what they’ve already leased.
